Division and Branch Information
The WNF&GA is organized into four main Divisions: Michigan, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Beyond these main Divisions, we have additional Branches and also members at large.
In addition to branches which incorporate a full range of programs and projects, two new types of branches have been formed in recent years: herb groups which focus on herb gardening, cooking, crafts and projects; and our floral design groups which provide flower arranging, flower shows and judges' schools.
Michigan Division
The many Branches that comprise the Michigan Division of WNF&GA are an energetic group of women and men who enjoy gardening, giving back to their communities, and learning more about the activity they love: gardening! Michigan Division has a strong history of altruistic giving. Our Branches have a long legacy of gifting to the Michigan 4-H Foundation as well as thousands of dollars given toward educational scholarships, local community beautification, nature preserves and horticultural therapy activities.
The current Division Project is raising funds to establish a 4-H Endowment Fund to insure that our funding of this worthwhile organization continues in the future. To donate to the Michigan Division Foundation or the Michigan Division 4-H Endowment Fund, contact: Michigan Division Foundation Treasurer
Through association with the National organization of WNF&GA and our affiliated organizations, CWC (Country Women’s Council USA) and ACWW (Associated Country Women of the World), members gain information about the state of women all over the world. We also have the opportunity for foreign travel.
Each Branch fosters education for the members through speakers provided at monthly meetings, workshops and hands on gardening experience. The Division also provides education, workshops and interesting speakers at Division Council meetings, as well as providing held 2-3 times each year.

In an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation, the Branches of the NY Division promote growth in our local communities and then reach out to our nation and the world.
At monthly meetings, we address farm issues, marketing, gardening and environmental topics. We also enjoy learning crafts, new hobbies and floral arranging. Our nature based horticultural projects reach out to schools, senior facilities and the Double-H Ranch here in Upstate, New York. The Ranch has a summer and winter camp experience for special needs and ill children.
We fund scholarships for college students studying forestry, agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and environmental concerns.
Our award winning community beautification projects are started and maintained by our talented members each summer season.
As the need arises, we do respond to the needs of our fellow citizens here in the USA and around the World. We are presently assisting a school in Metairie, Louisiana with a gardening and nutrition project called Debby's Garden. Four New York members have been chosen to represent our organization and our nation in an exchange program in foreign countries.
We have also been known to just have good wholesome fun at our flower shows, picnics, trips and outings.
Our Branch and Division meetings are open to the public. If you are interested in a "Growth Experience", please visit and join us.

Thus when planning their year, the Ohio Division Branches concentrate on furthering their education in horticulture, floral design, gardening, agriculture and community service throughout the Findlay area.
A few projects of note include:
