The Grace E. Frysinger Exchange Fellowship

The Grace E. Frysinger International Fellowship is a unique exchange between our Association and an ACWW society abroad, offering the opportunity to increase international good will, understanding and friendship.

The Frysinger fellowship was founded and endowed in 1956 by Miss Frysinger and has created a legacy of friendship around the world. This Fellowship makes it possible for two recipients, one from an Associated Country Women of the World society and one from Woman's National Farm and Garden Association of the USA to visit rural and urban homes, attend association meetings and travel throughout the exchange country for one month. Upon return to their home country, each recipient is expected to travel to their respective association's meetings to relate their experiences and report ideas for positive growth.

These recipients are chosen once every four years. Travel expenses are paid in full by our association.

Qualifications considered in selecting our candidate include:

  • Her interest in rural and urban life of other women around the world
  • Her knowledge of the work of the organization of which she represents
  • She must have an outgoing personality and be able to express herself well
  • She must be in good health and able to keep up with a busy schedule.

Interested candidates must submit the Frysinger Fellowship application to the Frysinger committee. Furhter information can be found on the application itself.
